Let me get back to some order in this book. Even though I do not have
this book
organized I am delighted with the new understandings in this edition.
Especially
with an increased Experimental section of this book. In a post #117
where I replied
to a poster who mentions the Microwave Blackbody radiation, that I
altered the
chapters because of that post:


I. the theory
(1) what is this theory?
(2) pictures of the Atom Totality theory, and history of the theory
and precursor hints


II. Cosmic characteristics and features; support
(3) uniform blackbody 2.71 K cosmic microwave background radiation
and Dark Night sky: Olber's Paradox fully answered
(4) missing mass conundrum solved
(5) layered age of Cosmos with 6.5 billion years new Cosmos yet
 old galaxies of the Uranium Atom Totality 20.2 billion years old;
the data including discussion over the layered ages of the Solar
System where Sun is likely to be twice as old as Jupiter.
(6) the cosmic distribution of chemical elements
(7) shape of the Cosmos as 6 lobes of 5f6 as nonrelativistic as
Cubic, or as relativistic Dodecahedron; color of the cosmos as
plutonium off-white
(8) Redshift of light from galaxies caused by

III. Observational and experimental support

IV. Mathematical and logic beauty support

Now I need to get back to Chapter 3 of that blackbody radiation. And
just as
Wegener needed seafloor spreading as proof of Continental Drift. Just
that one
item of evidence is all that it required, then for the Atom Totality,
the most
valuable and indubitable evidence that the Cosmos is one big atom is
the fact
that the Microwave background radiation is blackbody. Blackbody means
quantum
mechanics and that means the "inside of an atom." Case closed, the Big
Bang
theory is dead, kaput, finished, and laughed out of town. The only
kind of Cosmos
where Microwave Radiation is blackbody radiation at 2.71 Kelvin is the
inside of
an atom, a Cosmic Atom.

But before I go to Chapter 3, I have some unfinished business that I
stumbled across
in those experiments. Unfinished business in that I have the suspicion
and intuition that
light waves cannot have a Doppler Effect of a redshift or blueshift,
for it would violate
the Principle of Special Relativity. Now there are several
formulations of this principle
such as the one where the speed of light is the same in all inertial
frames of reference.
But the one I always like the most, which is equivalent to the
principle is the idea that
in Maxwell's equations, that a moving magnet across a closed loop
stationary wire
is the same as a moving closed loop wire across a stationary magnet,
yielding a current.

Now I have no problems with the Doppler Redshift with that of sound
waves, because
sound waves do not have a Special Relativity type of principle, but
light waves do.
And what I am skeptical of, is that Special Relativity Principle
cannot accomodate
a Doppler Redshift on light waves. Now I voiced this concern on
several occasions
in prior posts but I have not been able to put my finger on the
culprit of why Special
Relativity is incompatible with a Doppler Redshift.

But I do see why I would be the one to discover this, because I am a
mathematician
with a high degree of logic, who instinctively can sense when one idea
is incompatible
with another idea and leads to a contradiction. I have steeped in
mathematical proofs,
which rarely a physicist ever involves himself/herself in mathematical
proof. So for a
physicist to realize that the Doppler Effect is confined to sound
waves but not light
waves, is hard to come by. Whereas a mathematician that senses
contradictory logic
in two ideas would have a likelihood of stumbling upon that
contradiction.

So if I am correct, not saying I am, for I really do not have the bugs
worked out on this.
I just have a strong suspicion that the Doppler Effect can never work
with the principle
of Special Relativity, and so that means the Cosmic redshift of
galaxies was never due
to space in motion nor to the speed of galaxies.

So what would I have to show to prove that Doppler Effect never works
with light waves?
Well, I guess I would have to show that a inertial frame of reference
can be picked out
as an absolute frame of reference. And at this moment I cannot see a
way of doing that.

So I am partial to attacking this problem with that of the Maxwell
equivalent statement.
So does a Doppler Effect, somehow destroy the symmetry of a moving
magnet with
stationary wire, or moving wire with stationary magnet?

So I am pondering this. I have no assurance that my speculation is
true or false. I just
have that logical annoyance, that suspicion that something is amiss
with a Doppler
Effect and a Special Relativity. That both cannot be correct. But
rather than floundering
on time, I just will work on it in sparetime and in the meantime
continue forward with this
book.
