From: Amber on 11 Feb 2010 09:50 I was putting together a newsletter for class and it asked for a drop cap in the first paragraph. I followed the directions from the book and my drop cap would not fit in the paragraph like i chose it to. I tried many different things but nothin has worked. Any suggestions??

The Word version would be a start, but essentially you select the letter you want dropped and apply the drop cap - either from the Format menu or in Word 2007 the Insert tab. The only time it might not work is if you try to use it in a table or text box, but then the command would not be available. Describe *exactly* what you have done. -- <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> "Amber" <Amber(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:D487D390-9067-4BF0-AB4C-142C62E50AE3(a)microsoft.com... >I was putting together a newsletter for class and it asked for a drop cap >in > the first paragraph.
