From: Mike Rofone on 16 May 2010 23:54 We have an MSI Wind U100+ running XP. When I check the performance under Task Manager, it displays two graphs for the CPU, as if it's got a dual core CPU. But then this article says this: http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/article/346347/intel_says_dual-core_atom_netbook_coming/?fp=4&fpid=762457&eid=140 "Netbooks have been criticized for underperformance and poor graphics capabilities, partly due to the limited processing power of Atom chips. Most netbooks today come with single-core Atom processors." And according to the specs on Intel's website it's a single core CPU. So, why is XP showing it as having 2 cores when viewing the performance under Task Manager? As for the performance, the U100+ does OK for browsing, emails. Even Photoshop 7 seems to work OK with photos.
