From: Pierre on 14 Jan 2010 11:02 Entering a simple formula such as =AB1 into a cell results in =AB1 displayed. Formulas don't work either. Why would that be? Calculation is set to automatic, and formulas are set to display results. The supplied source data section of the sheet is the section of the sheet which will not display the results. However, another section of the same worksheet behaves fine by displaying formula results in their cells. Something about the properties of the source data? It all looks like text. Calculations, are not displayed properly in that area of the sheet. TIA for ideas. Pierre

Change it to GENERAL and retype your formulas. Should do the trick!
From: Ms-Exl-Learner on 14 Jan 2010 11:46 Select the cells and press Alt+E+A+F which will clear the cell formatting and after that press F2 and hit Enter. Now you can able to see the formula Result. Remember to Click Yes, if this post helps! -------------------- (Ms-Exl-Learner) -------------------- "Pierre" wrote: > Entering a simple formula such as =AB1 into a cell results in =AB1 > displayed.
