Good to hear EchoMac is working. Have you tried fldigi? My concern is
with the old keyspanUSAdrvr.pkg software I use with the Keyspan USA-28x
Serial to USB adapter for rig control. Something tells tell me I may
run into trouble setting up the Hamlib for Rig control. This is why I
have been dragging my feet on upgrading to 10.6.

I would also like to know if you have tried the ARRL's tqsl for LoTW
under 10.6?

No to both. Thanks for the pointers.
As long as you stay in 32 bit kernel (default), I would not expect
difficulties.
You might test by starting up from a partition with Snow Leopard on it,
and trying.
I intend to get a rig control with USB that needs no drivers, so I can
get around using Keyspan and RS-232.
All my machines are on Snow Leopard by now.

Marc,

I installed 10.6 today and all is working FB now. Fldigi with Rig
Control via hamlib with the Keyspan serial to USB adapter. All
apps I have tried work. The only glitch is the lame Time Machine
keep crapping out. The updated SuperDuper works great and
Samsung even posted a new 10.6 driver for my laster printer.

I am a happy camper
