From: tdwan on 18 May 2010 02:06 I have a problem that when I attach a link with an internet address in an email, the email does not get delivered - I've even sent one to myself and something in Outlook is blocking it...is there a security setting I can change? I am running Norton, but totally uninstalled it and the problem remained. Help!

In a decade, you haven't heard about the security update to Outlook (way back in version 2000) that blocks unsafe filetypes that are attached? The .url filetype is included (see the 1st article below for a list). http://support.microsoft.com/kb/262631/ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/265424 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829982 Don't attach a .url filetype. Instead just put the string for the URL in the body of your e-mail.
