Not entirely correct.

I was offered two alternatives (both free):
1- a2-Antimalware (requires uninstalling a-squared, re-insalling new versio.
2- A portable version ('Emsisoft EmergencyKit')

These two alternative options appeared when I tried to update the
database while within a-squared.

I only have the url of the second option, which is what I opted for. As
far as I can see, it does everything a2 did and more (Rootkit, malware
scan, Blitzscan, ...)
