From: Robert Peirce on 24 Oct 2009 11:11 My OS X calendar service just sent me a note that DST ends the last Sunday of October. However, I thought it now ended the first Sunday of November. If I am right, why has the calendar never been corrected? -- Robert B. Peirce, Venetia, PA 724-941-6883 bob AT peirce-family.com [Mac] rbp AT cooksonpeirce.com [Office]

I don't know what service you're using, but mine <webcal://ical.mac.com/ical/US32Holidays.ics> has it correct (1st Sunday in November). -- Tom Stiller PGP fingerprint = 5108 DDB2 9761 EDE5 E7E3 7BDA 71ED 6496 99C0 C7CF

Other countries have different schedules. <http://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/docs/daylight_time.php> My commercial wall calendar shows that DST ends October 25, 2009 for Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, and, UK. Best suggestion is to check your official local sources if in doubt. Matt -- Matt Broughton Only relatives are absolute.

I remember that because the Congressional testimony actually justified the change "for the kids" so they could TorT in daylight.
