I was really hoping that would do it... oh well, I tried! <g> Neil :-)

They were heavy and I dropped it on the way to my workbench. At first I thought, "Who wants to try using this thing now anyway?" I tried it out and the dam thing heated properly. I had to go into it just to determine what had corrected itself. It was a corroded connection on a secondary terminal. The bottom line is that a lot of problems can be simple, but finding them can be difficult and sometimes accidental. I have never used this technique on a printer.

That's not a bad idea at all, maybe John could accidentally drop his R-300 and it will start working again! <g> -- Neil D
