From: Rick Barrett on 15 Oct 2006 09:14 I am having trouble with Office 2003 updates failing. There is one other report of a similar problem in August 2005 but no response or corrective action is provided. The failure gives the cryptic error code 0x080070643. The error code has shown up for a Windows Defender problem... But, the solution provided there offers to remove unspecified software from the computer... Not a safe approach.
From: swhit32257 on 15 Oct 2006 09:55 I also am having this issue. Please keep me in the loop on what to do. Thanks! "Rick Barrett" wrote: > I am having trouble with Office 2003 updates failing. From: Alchemist on 15 Oct 2006 12:02 Hello again: I merely uninstalled my Excel 2003 viewer, reinstalled it and then the updates worked. The free Excel 2003 viewer download can be found on a Google search. Alchemist "Rick Barrett" wrote: > I am having trouble with Office 2003 updates failing.
