From: RWittmer on 15 Feb 2010 20:32 Anyone know how to fix this or what it means? I have Vista. Windows keeps telling me I should update, but this error will pop up and said that it is unable to update. Thanks

This is most frequently due to a hijackware infection. What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall (if any)? Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the computer (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it)?
