Wow, that's a new one on me! Check Help under
Specifications
and see if there really is a finite limit to the number of pages that you're
hitting.

How many pages are in this document?
What is its filesize?
What OS and version of OS?

It's not me that's got the problem - someone on the MS Answers forums. I've
never seen it either....
I'm awaiting a response from the OP with more details. I just thought I'd
try some other opinions first....

Most likely document corruption. If Word can't open the document, you might
want to give OpenOffice a shot. It is often better at opening corrupted
files. As a last alternative, if it's a docx file, you can rename it to zip,
extract it, and see what you can salvage by hand.
