From: Christopher on 4 May 2010 23:06 Hi All, For a class project, I am attempting to build a transmission system which uses the Bernoulli Binary Integer (M=16) block as source input. It is using frame based output with 4 samples per frame. It is fed into a Hamming Code encoder (7,4) whose output is fed into a 16-QAM modulator. The output of the modulator is then fed into an AWGN channel whose output is fed to 16-QAM demodulator. The output of demodulator is fed into Hamming Code decoder whose output is fed into Rx of Error Rate Calculation block. The output of Binary Integer source is fed into Tx of ERC block. When I run the model, there are no errors in execution but the Symbol Error Rate stays at a constant 0.8824 (or 88%) no matter what Eb/No (SNR) value I use for the AWGN channel. I have been working on this issue for 20-30 hours now with no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. -Chris
