From: Andrew E. on 30 Jan 2010 00:05 Youre going about it wrong....If you have a xp cd (retail),install xp cd,restart pc,boot to xp cd (set the BIOS to cdrom 1st boot device w/xp cd,hd 2nd)set this in boot priority/or similiar,once at xp cd boot menu,select install,new copy, delete the partition,create one,let the cd format & install auto...Otherwise youre simply installing over the old OS...
