From: Joe on 10 Dec 2006 19:18 When I close Access, after opening a database, it gives me an error. I have tried with Access XP, 2003, and 2007. I open a database and then when I close the application it crashes. Major functionality isn't changed I suppose but it is very annoying. If I haven't opened a database then there is no problem, Access closes normally. For each application I have done all of the updates. In the event viewer I get the following: Faulting application msaccess.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 4542815c, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, stamp 00000000, debug? 0, fault address 0x10001e80. With an event ID of 1000. Thoughts or solutions? I have also seen, I don't know if it is applicable, this: The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Office 11 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: msaccess.exe, 11.0.6566.0, 42cdb33e, unknown, 0.0.0.0, 00000000, 0, 0c2c1e80. The source is the same as is the event identification. Thank you in advance, Joe
