From: Jay Konigsberg on 16 Mar 2010 17:10 First off, I do not know the answer. However, if I was dealing with this, these are the questions I would ask myself. Is this server part of a cluster, replication, or anything but a stand-alone server? What is the nature of the maintenance plan being creating? What are the corresponding SQL Server error log entries, if any? What about the Windows Event Viewer, any database related errors there? Can you create any maintenance plan? Can you create any SQL Agent job? Are there any existing maintenance plans, or SQL Agent jobs? I see the OP's post included "Culture=neutral Public Key Token=89845dcd8080cc91", which makes me want to ask if the database is encrypted and if so, exactly how? -- Jay Konigsberg SQL Server DBA in Sacramento, CA http://www.linkedin.com/in/jaykonigsberg Live in Sacramento, CA?
