I'm getting an error starting IIS on my local PC:
The service metabase path '/LM/W3SVC/' could not be opened.
The service metabase path '/LM/SMTPSVC/' could not be opened.

Running Internet Information Services, Version: 5.1.
XP Professional, SP3

We've removed and reinstalled IIS, also attempted to apply hotfix however
that fix apparently was included in more recent MS Updates.
