James, The ciphertext for Exhibit 1, as found on the Chaocipher Clearing House, deciphers perfectly from start to finish when using the correct starting alphabets. The one error introduced by the publishers in "Silent Years" was corrected last week. Please download the latest version and try again, and contact me (mosher(a)mountainvistasoft.com) if you still encounter any problems. You say there are "numerous errors". Can you please be more specific? At what offset in the ciphertext does your deciphering become garbled? Moshe Rubin Chaocipher Clearing House
