From: Buffalo on 25 May 2010 21:22 Hi again. Once again I cannot connect to the Eternal-September newsgroups. The earlier problem I had was due to my not having the word news. in front of eternal-september.org as the Server. That hint worked just great, but now I cannot connect again. I am using the latest ver of FireFox. Thanks, Buffalo

So why is this a Windows XP problem? Seems more likely either PEBCAK or yet another outage at ES (aka Motzarella). Go bother the folks in the alt.free.newsservers group (lurk first to go read the other posts since your question may already be answered). > I am using the latest ver of FireFox. And what does HTTP have to do with NNTP?
