I always thought that if I simply scanned a text 'preview', but did not actually 'open' an e-mail, and deleted any that I didn't trust, then I was safe from any virus present in the e-mail and its attachments. Can't delelte uused mailboxes
Eudora 6.2.3.4 When I hit mailbox, the gray-backed list pops up, and is functional. I'm sure this must have been covered somewhere, but I can't find it - so sorry. What I'd like to know is, is it necessary to add the names in an email list, individually in the address book as well? Changing Email address when using Allow authentication
Back when I was connecting using cable I was able to use their SMTP server to send e-mails and I was able to use the combo box alongside the From and select different e-mail addresses. I'm now connecting using Verizon DSL. If you want to use their SMTP the return address must be @verizon.net (or pay a lot of money ... 9 Mar 2010 07:49
