Hello !

Some months ago, I submitted a poll in order to choose a date for the
2010 EuroTcl conference. Very few people answered it, and some others
delyaed their answer due to unplanning possibilities.

As I'm definitly convinced the EuroTcl should live, I propose you this
new poll.

PLEASE ANSWER EVEN IF YOU ALREADY ANSWERED IT BEFORE ! THIS IS A New

The poll ends April 4th, or before if a clear consensus appears (just
dreaming ...).

If this poll ends up with so few people feelling concerned by EuroTcl,
the 2010 conference will be cancelled.

I do not have much preference for either of the suggested periods.
(I do have a preference for it to be held :)).

I am not in Europe but the my suggestion would apply for any location:
every Tcl conference should be held at the same time and place as one
of the major Open Source conferences. It gives much more incentive/
excuse for people to go there. The times are tough economically right
now, and it is very difficult for many people to justify going
somewhere just for Tcl conference. Plus, businesses would be more
willing to send their employees to all inclusive large events than to
just one smaller event.

Speaking from experience, we get more attendees and better attendees when it
is standalone.

I have never been to a Tcl conference but I have been to many Open
Source conferences, and occasionally they have Perl or Ruby or Python
sub-conference. I thought it was a great idea.
