From: RussJR on 6 Feb 2006 16:29 I have a Server 2003 SP1 network attached storage (NAS) file server that is having the following problems. The CPU is at 100%. When I go to the tast manager, I find a process called system that is has the cpu at 100% and is hogging a huge amount of memory. I have stopped the service without success. When I look at the event logs, I find hundreds of the following error in my system log: Event Type: Error Event Source: Srv Event Category: None Event ID: 2000 Date: 2/6/2006 Time: 10:23:37 AM User: N/A Computer: NAS1 Description: The server's call to a system service failed unexpectedly. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. Data: 0000: 00040000 00540001 00000000 c00007d0 0010: 00000000 c000010a 00000000 00000000 0020: 00000000 00000000 00bd0334 I have been to eventid.net and there is no explanation of error code c000010a. I have searched google groups and microsoft and this technet site, finding no real solution. I do not have a printer problem as some have suggested. I have checked the DNS settings on this server and all is good. This is my main file server and I need a descent solution to resolve this issue. Thank you for your help!
