From: David Kriz on 4 Dec 2009 04:33 I have this record in EventLog: /------------------------------------8<----------------------------------\ Event Type: Error Event Source: Virtual Disk Service Event Category: None Event ID: 1 Date: 02.12.09 Time: 09:01:35 User: N/A Computer: KFILE1001 Description: Unexpected failure. Error code: 1(a)0200001D For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. \------------------------------------8<----------------------------------/ I found this resolutions in Microsoft KB: 1) http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;948699 2) http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;949001 3) http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;941692 but I am not sure if I can use them, because on my server is this version of operating system: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2, Standard Edition (32-bit x86), SP2, English. and resolutions in Microsoft KB aren't for version R2. What do you think? Can I use them for version R2?

Can I use them for version R2? I assume you've found those KB articles from: http://eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=1&eventno=4420&source=Virtual Disk Service&phase=1 I'm not sure if it will apply to R2, but I don't see why not because R2 is just basically a bunch of add-ons. -- Ace This posting is provided "AS-IS" with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
