From: Richard K on 13 May 2010 04:21 SBS2008 OK I ran the SBS2008 BPA and it reports that Exchange 2007 SP2 is not installed. I do a little more research and see a tool that Microsoft has put out to help install SP2 on an SBS2008 server. I download the SP2 and the tool and start to run. When the SP2 installation starts it errors out saying that a "reboot from a previous installation is pending. Please restart the system and rerun setup". I go ahead and restart the server. When I go and start the process again I get the same error. I've obviously rebooted so that didn't fix it. After a little more digging I came across another article about a registry key adjustment but when I look at my registry under hklm\software\microsoft\updates I see Exchange 2007\SP2. SP2? There are 2 entries under that key for KB970162 (Rollup 9) and KB981407 (Rollup 10). What am I missing here? Why is there a key for Exchange 2007\SP2 and according to the BPA it is not installed? When I go into the Exchange 2007 console/help about I see version 08.01.0436.000 Thanks! -Richard K

I recommend that you post this question in a BPA forum. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." ..
