From: JoJo on 1 Mar 2010 19:13 Folks: What is the best software (or your favorite) out there that can be used to play FLV format files. Thanks, JoJo.

Ho JoJo, I use VideoLan VLC Player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ During installation, there is a window where you can choose what file types (file extensions) to associate with the player. I uncheck all of them, then just check .FLV and .VLC, since I don't want the player to take over any other file types that I have associated with other players. -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP Oct. 2002 - Sept. 2009 A+ http://dts-l.net/
From: Bill in Co. on 1 Mar 2010 21:35 There are several small dedicated FLV players out there (dedicated to FLV, so they won't mess up any of your other video players and settings). Some examples include: Martijn FLV Player Riva FLV Player Sothink FLV Player Check them out by reviews, such as over on download.com, and by Google. From: glee on 1 Mar 2010 22:36 The only one of those three I've tried is the Riva FLV player. It is small and handy, but not only doesn't it have a Full Screen option, it does not let you resize the window either. That's why I went looking for something with more features. Both the Sothink and Martijn FLV Players have a Full Screen option. -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP Oct. 2002 - Sept. 2009 A+ http://dts-l.net/ "Bill in Co." <not_really_here(a)earthlink.net> wrote in message news:eTCMDEbuKHA.732(a)TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > There are several small dedicated FLV players out there (dedicated to > FLV, so they won't mess up any of your other video players and > settings).
