From: richard.townsendrose on 23 Sep 2007 07:37 Hi all Well last friday, 21st, I had the pleasure to invite Fabrice to my "local" as he was in Glasgow, and leaving at an unearthly hour the following morning from Prestwick Airport to fly home. We had a hilarious evening - and it got a better when one of the bar maids, who had finished her shift behind the bar, and was having a "quiet" drink asked me if Fabrice was really french ! The she decided it was time to test her french speaking.... and she joined us, much to the abject horror of Fabrice's student - but then the lad discovered that there is life after death. Christine is a "glasgow south sider" and a big girl - 100 kg and 1.7m tall ? and (of course) she talks very fast - more than nineteen to the dozen anyway. Having given a 3 hour presentation in the wirral and then had a 4 hour drive home in apalling weather, at 10:30 it was approaching the time for me to leave, so I left - I always walk home and of course i had had my share of real ale, and made an impression on the malt whiskey. I missed Christine discovering it was Fbarice's 41st birthday. She created a birthday cake for him, and sang happy birthday in french - translated from scots courtesy of the bar manager who is studying law. Yesterday I was treated to a dozen versions of the story - Fabrice you are now a Legend in Cathcart. PLEASE email me the photos ! But now the real reason for the post: FabToys is going to 2.8 - Fabrice PLEASE ensure settings are for ALL ERRORS and Warnings as Errors - and then even better then to Vulcan. so visit everyone, visit: http://www.fabtoys.net/joomla/ Anyway - cathcart french relations took a major step forward..... Richard
