From: Kim Fernandes on 24 Feb 2010 09:27 Hi there, I'd like to run a factor analysis in SAS. I have a questionnaire (28 questions) filled out by ~400 people. The answers range from 1-10, but almost all of the answers are positively skewed. I've tried to transform the data (log, square root, reciprocal) but the data still ends up skewed in some way. I've heard that tobit factor analysis is a way to deal with positively skewed data. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions as to how they would go about performing an analysis on such data, and if there are any packages/macros in SAS that might help achieve this? Thanks for your help. Best wishes, Kim
