If you mean accounting number formats, this feature request is already
tracked as issue 15773, see

I don't see any difference between "Accounting" and "Currency" formatting
except "Currency" has more options...
And yes I'm a retired Management Accountant...

It's about number formats where a part of the output is left-aligned,
and the rest right-aligned. Depending on the locale, this may be used to
left-align the currency symbol or the minus sign, or only for
user-defined formats.
