My own experience with XP Pro SP3 is that an earlier version kept crashing. I was certainly not alone here, but AFAIK, Stardock never acknowledged the problem, despite many users pointing it out. The latest version does work though, so I can only presume Stardock found and fixed the problem that they never wanted to acknowledge existed in the first place. ??? Brian

I'm not sure if that only applies to the commercial version or includes the free version. I wouldn't want to get involved with anything (of this type of utility) that requires a paid-for helper application. Right now I litter my desktop with topic folders and stuff them with shortcuts to my most used programs. How different is Fences' way of doing it? -- Don Kirkman donsno2(a)charter.net |
