Blank I had a file in Print Shop but has since been seized by a PDF
association......another words--- how can I change a PDF file to its
previous association?? Any suggestions are

Choose Tools
Folder Options
File Types Tab
Find the .PDF extension
Click Change
Find the program that you want to open the .PDF file and
Click Open
Ok
Apply

wait a couple of seconds and it should be set.

Thanxxx for the advice.......but..........I would like to convert a
specific PDF file format to a (for example) .txt or .bmp file format
extention.......

Right click on file and select Open With. Choose what you want to use to open and
then select the box on the bottom where it say's Always use this et etc. Hit Apply

That's very different from changing the program you open a pdf with.

search the internet for a program called "Free PDF to Word Doc Converter"
or you could install a printer where it prints to a file instead of an
actual printer and see if that works.
