From: JGreg7 on 28 Apr 2010 14:38 Is there a listing of file locations for Office 2007? I want to back up the personalization files and other files with settings in them to allow a restoration to the current machine, or import the settings to another machine. I am using Windows XP SP2 -- Thank you, John Gregory

In the Advanced category, click the File Locations button. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "JGreg7" <JGreg7(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:D667D322-9AE0-42A4-AF88-7A621121AC18(a)microsoft.com... > Is there a listing of file locations for Office 2007? > > I want to back up the personalization files and other files with settings in > them to allow a restoration to the current machine, or import the settings to > another machine. From: JGreg7 on 6 May 2010 16:25 Thank you for the suggestion. However that only gets some of the files. There are more configuration files hidden in other places. I found these for Office 2003, but since they changed everything around for 2007, I just want to make sure I get them all. -- Thank you, John Gregory "Stefan Blom" wrote: > Click Office button | Word Options. From: Stefan Blom on 11 May 2010 06:08 I guess you've already read the article at http://word.mvps.org/faQs/General/FilesToBackup.htm (which may not be updated for Word 2007 anyway)? -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "JGreg7" <JGreg7(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AA0AD278-F4B8-4F06-8FE0-3E8F93B91828(a)microsoft.com... > Thank you for the suggestion.
