From: Nathan on 2 Feb 2010 12:44 Using WinXP SP3 and PSE6. On my laptop going to File>Open when I type the first character into the File name box a drop down list appears showing all files in that folder starting with that character. Then when I enter the second character it shows files with names starting with the first two characters and so on. It doesn't work on my desktop using the same WinXP and PSE6. Does anyone have a clue what to change and where? I suspect that this is a function of WinXP not PSE6 but am not sure. Nathan
From: ruic on 4 Feb 2010 16:19 Believe it or not the autocomplete is a feature of internet explorer. Do both computers have the same version of IE? If they do then go to Tools -> Internet Options Content tab and click the Settings button under AutoComplete Compare both computers and see what is missing on the one where it is not working.
