But yes I have seen things like this - I think I have a workaround that
i use, but cannot remember exactly what it is.

Malcolm,

I'm using 2831, but no worries. I started looking into the SDK but
soon got bored ;-).
It's only affecting a few dbserver calls, so we've restructured the
calls to make sure the FileSpec error doesn't interfere. Just nice to
know I'm not loosing it completely, as it had me sratching my head
yesterday.
