I've got a spare Emulex "NetQue" print server box which has both a parallel port and a serial port. It ran two printers (Brother HL-1050 and an Epson LX400 dot matrix) simultaneously from a Novell NetWare server many moons ago. I'm fairly sure there's a CD with a web interface program on it somewhere, but I can't find it, in any case it's configurable by Telnet. Only runs at 10mbit/sec on the network, but that ought to be fast enough for a printer..! The power supply runs pretty hot though, make sure it's got plenty of ventilation..! If anyone's interested, make me an offer in beer ;-) Ivor
From: Gilles Vollant on 15 Apr 2007 23:15 Thank you a lot for info My goal are : - I hope using ethernet instead parallel will be faster , so I prefer sing Ethernet board for the printer instead ethernet to parralel adaptator - I've several option in LBP1760 (postscript, duplex...) so I want no change the printer My idea is : there is pehaps somes EB52 used (or Emulex), which are on some LBP1760 or LBP2460 which are dead, at cheap price. Of course, if there is only EB52 at new price, we will continue use parallel port
