From: Shah Rahul on 17 Jul 2010 17:14 Hi everyone, i am studying the behaviour of Slab under machine induced vibration. in my case the machine is mounted on the Reinforced concrete (RC) Slab. I know the modal property of slab like m,k and wn for each mode of vibration. also I have also calculated the Impulse Response function of the Slab h(t). also by puting the accelerometre at various nodes on the slab i have the data for the Response of the structure X(t). now as you all know, X(t) = h(t) * y(t) where y(t) is the input forcing function which is convlolved with h(t) to give response of the structure X(t). now in my case I know h(t) and X(t) and I want to find the input forcing function y(t). can anybody help me how to deconvolve this equation [h(t)*y(t)] so that I can find the input y(t)? looking forward for your support. regards, Rahul.
