FF is rock stable for those sites that will run with JavaScript toggled
off (which happily are quite numerous). FF's problems do also relate to
Plugins like SWF IMHO.

Cleaning the cache helps also I have set some "about:config" variables to
2 [seconds]. If a script takes longer than this a dialog giving the
option to abort the script is displayed.
