From: Kabuki Armadillo on 16 Sep 2009 11:52 Okay, anyone else here tired of web pages cluttered border to border with multiple columns, ads, endless lists of links to who-knows-where, pointless comment threads, etc. What I'm looking for is a program -- possibly a Firefox extension -- that automatically detects and "presses" any print buttons that it finds on a page. Most often these are associated with articles that are broken up over multiple pages -- the better to force you to wade through pages of ads. The print page is usually just the article with just the necessary images. I'd prefer if it opened in the current tab but I can live with a new tab or window. Such a beast exist AFAYK? M

There's "printer friendly" at https://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/zap.html I've used it - sometimes works;sometimes not.
