No sure what more to suggest--perhaps if you posted a url we could check
something might become apparent. Also--what version of osx are you using?
I'm pretty sure I've seen it work in safari and firefox on mac, so it's
difficult to guess where it might be failing without more information...
That said, as I mentioned, the others are correct in reporting that
wmode transparent can be buggy (although complete failure is not so common,
other issues do come up). Fwiw you might try wmode= opaque if it will
