Prev: How to print out every 4th page using Microsoft Word 2003
Next: Compare and merge not showing changes to footer
From: Abowler on 1 Jun 2010 16:34 Using the "tools" in Word 2003, I often need to compare and merge documents, e.g., compare a "Version 3" against a "Version 2" of a document (using NetDocuments as my online document depository). The comparison document will show the new additions in blue, the deletions lined through and in red. However, in the footer, where I have my document and version number, it will show no changes whatsoever, even though the document will be changed from, for example, document 1234v2 to 1234v3. This has caused significant problems, because I need to show that in the comparison version, and it oftentimes does not show it. What to do? |
