Help!
I have a template with form fields. When I start a new document from the
template and put in text in the prompt boxes the document ends up like this.

{FILLIN"date"\*MERGEFORMAT}

Yet it prints what I typed in the boxes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bill

Press Alt+F9 to toggle between field codes (what you see now) and field
results. That's a shortcut for going to the Options dialog and
checking/unchecking the Field Codes box.
