Ack.. The latest isn't always the best. v3.90.3 is still scene spec.

Another freeware (for personal use) which is quite easy to convert
to/from most formats is Any Audio Converter. Set it and forget it.
Mine is set to mp3 output and any files I select, even mixed files,
are converted to mp3 format.
