I have seen freeware that will assist forum members by giving them
"rank" by posting. It will also allow them to invite others to join
as well and further give them rank. I saw it once and never saw it
again, sadly. My two forums are up, I just need this freeware.

I think there's a few forum plugins that do this.
What forum are you using?
VBull, phpBB, custom?
