I highly doubt it really, this isn't openers and headliners, at any level like your anecdote. This is bottom feeder
city. The board her friend is mixing on is regular mi kit,
bottom feeder weekend warrior band kit for the most part. I have few doubts that the op's friend mixes that way because
he/she doesn't know any better.
