Hang on a min, that site gives a price for 1 - 5 suits (gasp) and a

26� is too cool? That machine doesn't spin down anyway, because it's the
main data source. Perhaps we should move the always on machine to the
house one. That drive is currently 41�.

Ayup, though there's not all that much effect. All modern hard drives
use fluid bearings, and it just thickens up a little, stressing the
motor that little bit more. Nothing serious.

That's a good temperature. About the only thing that came out of the
Google hard drive study was that drives die least between 35 and 45
degrees C.

I *do* so wish they'd published by manufacturer.
