"GEDCOM 5.5 Torture Test Files"
"The following download contains some files that use every tag in GEDCOM
5.5 in every possible location. These files can be used to test GEDCOM
importing and exporting of applications that claim to support GEDCOM."

Tripped over this site yesterday. . . thought someone might want to try
the files with their preferred genealogy program. I'm still learning the
GEDCOM format and reading these files makes my head hurt. ;)

Meanwhile, I've been importing and exporting GEDCOM files in GRAMPS to
see what changes it makes in them. (FWIW one thing is does is parse each
NAME into its separate parts).

I've also been struggling with intertwined families (half-siblings,
step-siblings), adoptions etc. and I think I've *finally* figured out
the way I want to input those families.
