Certainly avoid the chemicals in modern bathroom products. But the refs to seratonin and neurology deserve research. Different gene pools have different ratios of men with higher testosterone & adrenalin along with lower seratonin and dopamine. Then too.... http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/06/090605123237.htm Which suggests why some gene pools have more streetgangs. But we can go on and look at the whole spectrum of psychopathologies and see them as responses to DNA and chemical exposure or nutritional deficit. http://daybrown.org/village/village.htm outlines economic traits of village life. But lets remember most of us descend from 10,000 years of agrarian village life and dont really adapt that well to urban masses. Cities are too recent to be the natural hominid habitat, and when these other causes- pathogens, chemicals, nutrition, are added in, we get a clue as to why so many posters are nuts.

"Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't . . ." We are SO much more than pathogens, chemicals, and so on. Some of us just fight the famine a little bit better than others. Eat well -- help others eat well -- and PROSPER ! HUNGER is the single most dangerous thing in all the world. And over a billion people, mostly children and the elderly, go to bed hungry every single night. A reduction of perhaps 0.1% or 6.8e6/year would seem doable. WW3 could start this human culling off with a bang, so to speak. Otherwise we need to get serious about intelligent engineering and perhaps otherwise intelligent design in charge of future generations. The last thing we need are wealthy humans living to the ripe old age of 200. ~ BG

About 1974 a paper* was circulated in a fairly tight Washington, DC. circle. Theme was that when population became critical the Russia,USA, and China would launch nuke stirkes of hundreds of 3rd world population centers. *Brookings Institute |
