To the best of my knowledge, the way you do it is to reformat and install Vista. It is a little unreasonable to expect a brand-new operating system to fully support a bus that was developed 30 years ago. Of course, as long as you know the I/O port number, you can just call READ_PORT_UCHAR and WRITE_PORT_UCHAR. You don't actually need any support from the operating system. -- Tim Roberts, timr(a)probo.com Providenza & Boekelheide, Inc.

And what with ISA-like (or PnP ISA) devices on existng machines, that usually sit on the LPC bus? --ap
