You stated the ports conflict with the PCI bus, how did you determine this?

Read the docs on "LogConfig".

Finding a computer with ISA was hard in around, say, 2003.

To the best of my knowledge, the way you do it is to reformat and install
Vista.

It is a little unreasonable to expect a brand-new operating system to fully
support a bus that was developed 30 years ago.

Of course, as long as you know the I/O port number, you can just call
READ_PORT_UCHAR and WRITE_PORT_UCHAR. You don't actually need any support
from the operating system.

??? And what with ISA-like (or PnP ISA) devices on existng machines,
that usually sit on the LPC bus?
