From: Nico Kadel-Garcia on 23 Dec 2009 04:20 I've got a client using some very recent versions of software in RHEL 5, which weren't installed via RPM. To aid them in package management, I'm trying to get updates to projects like 'proj' and 'clearsilver' into Fedora, so that they also get into EPEL and will be easily available in the future. And I'm finding Fedora's update submission policies a bit confusing. Has anyone here been through that? I'm happy to try and get them into repositories like RPMforge, but I hate to duplicate efforts or encourage conflicts or dependency isues between those two very useful sources, and I'd like to encourage Fedora to remain up-to-date (which they generally do!!!)
