(My personal view is global warming is well-established, human
activity affecting it is well-established [particularly CO2 v. temp],
but human societal adaptation for it has a long way to go, this
religiousity as implied by the OP is counter-productive.)

It is not well-established. If more CO2 means more heat, why
did that not happen last 10~12 years? Someone is screwing us!
The MC=MH (More CO2 = More Heat) rule is simply not true.
