From: shawn on 9 Feb 2010 11:41 I have just completed a long document (novel manuscript) based on 2 spaces after the period. Can anyone tell me how to proof a Word document to automatically make sure there are 1 space after the period at the end of a sentence? I am using Office 2007. Thank you.
From: DeanH on 9 Feb 2010 14:54 Change the Setting for "Spaces required between sentences" from "Don't Check" or "2" to "1". This option if found under the Microsoft Office Button, Word Option buttons, Proofing, Grammar Settings - Setting button. This will indicate any space that is not "1" as a Grammar error. To change the document quickly, use Find Replace. Find ".spacespace" Replace with ".space", replace all and repeat until Word returns zero changes. Hope this helps DeanH "shawn" wrote: > I have just completed a long document (novel manuscript) based on 2 spaces > after the period.
